Privacy Policy

How ANB Solutions, Inc. handles information collected through this website, and how we handle client data during advisory engagements.

This policy explains what personal information ANB Solutions, Inc. ("ANB Solutions," "we," "us") collects through solutions.theanbgroup.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. ANB Solutions is a technology advisory practice based in Austin, Texas.

It covers two separate things. First, the data this website collects from visitors. Second, at a high level, how we handle a client's own data when we are engaged to advise on it. These are governed differently, and the distinction matters, so we call it out explicitly below.

1. Information we collect from this website

  • Contact form. When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and to follow up about a possible engagement.
  • Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. This sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, and a truncated or hashed identifier. We do not use it to identify you personally.
  • Server and delivery data. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts. As with any website, loading a page shares your IP address and basic request information with these providers so the page can be delivered.

We do not knowingly collect payment information, government identifiers, or special categories of data through this website.

2. How we use it

  • To respond to messages you send us and to schedule and conduct a working session.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and operational.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA and UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and operating and improving the site, and on your consent where required for non-essential analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your browser settings or contacting us.

4. Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of third parties to run this site. Each processes only what is needed for its function, under its own privacy terms:

  • Formspree — delivers contact form submissions to us.
  • Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
  • Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the site.
  • GitHub Pages — hosts and serves the site.

5. Cookies

This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics for usage measurement. The site itself does not require cookies to function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work.

6. Data retention

We keep contact form correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting engagement, and then for a reasonable period for our records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' configured retention period. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to request a copy of the data you gave us. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email abhishek@theanbgroup.com and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.

8. Client data during advisory engagements

This is separate from the website. In the course of advisory work, architecture reviews, and SOC 2 and CI/CD readiness assessments, we may access a client's systems and data. When we do:

  • We access that data on the client's own cloud accounts and enterprise subscriptions, under the client's control, only to the extent needed for the engagement.
  • We act as a service provider or processor on the client's behalf. The handling of that data is governed by our engagement agreement and, where applicable, a Data Processing Addendum, not by this website policy.
  • We do not use client data for any purpose beyond the engagement, and we return or delete access when the engagement ends.

If you are a prospective client and need a Data Processing Addendum or want to review our confidentiality and data-handling terms, contact us and we will provide them.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information in our care, including least-privilege access, encryption in transit, and prompt removal of access that is no longer needed. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.

11. Children

This site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
